The country guest house in Siezenheim by Salzburg was built in 1724 as a hunting lodge. Since 1804 it has been owned by the Allerberger Family.
The current owner, Franz Allerberger, is proud of the history of his guest house – especially since it very nearly lost its charming historical flavor. When Allersberger’s father managed the facility, conventional wisdom advised tearing down the building which was in need of repair. Thanks to his father’s tenacity, the building’s historic character was preserved and exists today for guests to enjoy!
